I’m excited to share the techniques and insights I’ve learned over the years, helping you build confidence, and a strong foundation as you begin, or progress forward in your cello playing.
This site is designed for everyone: students without access to private lessons, young beginners who
want to learn the basics of cello playing before starting formal lessons, adult learners seeking flexible
guidance, and even current students wanting a fresh perspective on various techniques.
The videos are concise, but packed with specific, actionable instruction, so you can quickly find what
you need to move forward. I’ve organized the content into categories, allowing you to dive into specific
techniques, or explore as you'd like. Many videos are interconnected, offering additional guidance as
you progress.
My hope is that this website will give students the opportunity to practice a variety of techniques at
home, where they can learn at their own pace, and equip them with the skills to feel comfortable both
playing the cello, and reading music.
